My Story
Kelsey Bruzda, the owner and artist for Kelsey Noelle Designs got her start at a young age. Throughout high school she experimented with many mediums and art forms trying to take in all she could of the art realm.
In college she worked as a glass technician at the University of Oregon Craft Center and instantly was addicted to working with glass. She switched her focus from interior architecture to jewelry design and metalsmithing, then began using the experience she had with glass to influence her jewelry designs. She became very interested in recreating broken pieces of glass discarded at the glass blowing studio by setting them like a prized position in jewelry. She has continued evolving this theory of reuse in her designs today.
After graduating from college Kelsey worked for nearly four years as a Goldsmith for a custom fine jeweler in Corvallis, Oregon. There she honed her skills in difficult setting techniques and developed the dream of someday owning her own jewelry design company.
Recently, Kelsey has been blessed to open her own design studio in Vancouver, Washington where she is able to create beautiful wearable art pieces. Her favorite pieces to make are large one-of-a-kind mixed media necklaces set with semi-precious gems, recycled glass and ceramics.
In the future Kelsey would love to be blessed with the opportunity to give back to others through art with a training studio for at risk youth or something similar as God leads.
